North West Fund Invests in ACAL
ACAL Energy has secured £400,000 investment funding from The North West Fund for Energy and Environmental Technologies, which it will be using in the commercialisation of its FlowCath® technology in applications such as off-grid power for telecommunications and fuel cell vehicles.

New Antares on Track for Launch
The Antares H3 fuel-cell powered aircraft is on track for its first flight this year, and a transatlantic flight in 2012. The H3 glider is the successor to the Antares DLR-H2, the world’s first piloted fuel cell aircraft, developed by Lange Research Aircraft with the German Aerospace Centre (DLR).
